Meet Mel
Finding a criminal lawyer is perhaps the most important decision you will make in your case. With a lifelong passion for justice and the law, I will work alongside you to obtain the best possible results. I have worked in Criminal Law in Ottawa, and Toronto and continue to maintain strong relationships in those communities.
I became a criminal defence lawyer for a single reason: to dedicate my practice to protecting my clients’ rights. For me, this isn’t a job—it’s my mission.
Experienced in a wide range of criminal charges, I am licenced by the Law Society of Ontario and practice exclusively within the province. I work in the Waterloo region and the GTHA, helping people navigate the justice system during some of the worst moments in their lives. I understand how difficult criminal charges are on my clients and their families. For that reason, I am committed to treating my clients with transparency, sincerity, and compassion.
I have experience with a wide range of cases including but not limited to sexual assault, assault, drug charges, sexual interference, child pornography, fraud and theft, and many others.
Legal aid certificates are accepted, and flexible payment plans are available to accommodate every client’s financial circumstances.
